On March 30, 2006 in Brianza near Milan, a new star was born into the Italian universe of master porcelain manufacturers:  Francofiore s.r.l.   This area is known for feldspathic porcelain -- a very hard porcelain which glows blue in natural light. It requires more demanding craftsmanship, such as firing the porcelain twice, once at 1,830 degrees F (Fahrenheit) in an oxidative atmosphere, then again at 2,550 degrees F in a reductive atmosphere.

 

Francofiore s.r.l. may be a new company but is already a master because it is the offspring of family companies, Tiche Porcellana d’Arte s.r.l. and F.B.A.I. s.a.s -- the leaders in the field-- founded by master crafsman Franco Perego in 1962.  His children Cristiana, Luca, and Lamberto have taken over the family businesses and operate with the same passion and strict standards for producing the world’s finest porcelain.  Nothing is left to chance.  Even the sources for the raw ingredients are overseen by the Perego family without any subsidiaries.  The entire process is in-house!  Business concerns are always secondary to creating the world’s finest porcelains.  You as customer will be most pleased with their superior products as well as their business ethics.

Please note that the firing process used to make this beautiful and durable porcelain is certified by the following references:  UNI EN 1186-1:2003 and UNI EN 1186-9:2003—GOST R.  Plus, we absolutely guarantee the quality of our products and satisfaction of our clients.
